Standard price change when entries has been posted with Material Ledger is Activated

Note:- This scenarios is relevant when the posting has already done for the particular month, in which we need to change the Standard Cost.

FI posting period needs to be open for the current month, else system will through you the error.

Need to change the standard cost to "0"

There are certain steps that needs to be followed to change the standard cost to "0"

Step 1:-

T.code MM03

I have posted one material document through T.code MB1A, so that we can check how to change the Price when the document is posted.

Now follow the below process, to change the standard price as "0"

T.code CKMM (Here we will change the Price determination)

We will change the Price determination From 3 to 2 (From Single/Multilevel to Transaction based) without this it is not possible to change the Price, where "Material Ledger" is activated

So need to remove the Test Run Flag

Now We can see the changes in Material Master

T.code MM03

Now To change the price go to T.code MR21

After save the document will be posted and to view the document click on document display

Now we can see in Material Master that the standard price has been changed to 0

Once all the process is complete, Now change the price determination again from 2 to 3 (Transaction based to Single/Multilevel Price determination)

T.code CKMM

Now remove the test run flag and click on execute

To review the changes kindly go to T.code MM03 (Material Master Display)

Now we can see that the Standard Price has been changed to "0" and Price determination has been set to "3".
